Health Infrastructure upgraded Lismore Base Hospital to provide enhanced integrated facilities to meet the growing health needs of the Lismore community.
OVERVIEW
The Lismore Base Hospital redevelopment provided contemporary facilities to support the expansion of local quality health services. Stage 3C of the Lismore Base Hospital Redevelopment refurbished the Northern Tower and was the final stage in the twelve-year project.
The NSW Government invested $312.75 million in the Lismore Hospital Redevelopment.

The project included:
- An upgrade to the main entry
- End of trip facilities and changing rooms
- Ambulatory care rehabilitation, outpatients and allied health facilities
- Research, education and training areas
- Executive offices and auditorium
- Coronary care unit
- Step-down unit
- Geriatric evaluation and management
- Assessment and diagnostic unit.
